Dear Executive Team,

After a visit to Cuba by the Executive Chairman of Google LLC, Mr. Eric Schmidt and Republican Senator, Mr. Jeff Flake, the currently imposed “President” of Cuba, Mr. Diaz-Canel, announced that Google had not reached an agreement for Internet access on the island.

At this time, I have been informed that servers belonging to Google LLC are in Havana ready to be installed. I would like to inform the Executive Team that the government of Cuba does not plan to allow the citizens of the country free access to the social networks and to free public information as most individuals in this century do.
Should Google LLC allow the Cuban regime to implement “filters” on said servers, each users Internet search and information is tracked and exposed to the repressive legislation that is being articulated in the new draft of the constitution. There are a plethora of Cuban citizens that have been punished for posting their opinions on their personal accounts on social networks.

Should Google LLC accept Cuba’s communist regime to interfere with these servers by limiting, blocking, tracking, etc. public access to information found in the cyber World Network, Google LLC would be a culprit to the abuse, inhuman treatment, and even murder of Cuban citizens. The Cuban regime will be able to use Google servers to locate and arrest persons that use the network to report violations, injustice, or simply those voicing their opinions. According to the new legislation, individuals would be charged with crimes such as "contempt", "treason" or "sedition". Google LLC would then become the major weapon of a totalitarian regime, of a bloody dictatorship that assassinates those who think differently or oppose the regime.

Should the use of these servers cause a negative impact and target Cuban citizens opposing to the regime, I will hold Google LLC responsible for actions taken against these individuals. Cuban citizens whom are free and off the island do not forget the injustice witnessed and will bring to justice those who join and are considered accomplices to the long list of crimes executed by the communist government of Cuba.

Regards,

Dr Jorge Gonzalez
