Repressive forces harassing artits on protest

This afternoon at 5 pm in the house of Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, in
Damas Street and San Isidro, Old Havana had scheduled a concert of several artists who in these days have spoken out against the decree law 349 related to art censorship and control.

The Repressive Forces arrested Yanelis Nuñez Leyva and Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, in order to prevent for them to have such activity.  In the place a security operation was established to prevent that people accessed the area. For some time, they  talked with the authorities so that they will release Luis and Yanelys, but they affirmed that only they would liberate if they cleared the area (an agglomeration had already been created of people who went to the activity). It is suspected that Amaury Pacheco and David de Omni could be under arrest at this time due to attempts to communicate with them and it has been impossible. The artists gathered there, among whom were Amaury Pacheco, Iris, his wife, David de Omni, Soandry del Rio, Yasser and other artists who remained in the firm position that they would not leave until they freed Yanelys and Luis Manuel. Gorki was also invited to this activity but an operation of State Security prevents him from leaving his house. The political police are in the basement of his house and a patrol car  is parked on 44th Street, where his house and recording studio "La Paja Records" is  located at 35street between 42 and 44, Playa.
